RECIPE OF MATTAR PANEER (Suggested Recipe) INGREDIENTS: 1 cup Green Peas, 1 cup Paneer Cubes, 3 tbsp Oil, 1/4 cup Chopped Onions, 1/4 cup Chopped Tomatoes, 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste, 1/2 tsp Dharitri Lakadong Turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp Dharitri Garam Masala, 1/2 tsp finely chopped Green Chillies, 1 tsp Whole Cumin Seeds, 2 tsp Dharitri Kitchen King Masala, 1/2 tsp Dharitri Chilli Powder, Ginger, Garlic, 1 tsp Dharitri Coriander Powder, 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi, salt to taste, 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
METHOD: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 3 mins. Add the tomatoes and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add the Dharitri Turmeric Powder, Kitchen King Masala, Garam Masala, Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder and salt and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Cool and blend in a mixer till smooth. Heat the remaining 2 tbsp of oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the Cumin Seeds, ginger- garlic paste and the prepared Onion Masala, tomato paste and sauté on a medium flame for 3 minutes. Add green peas and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add the Kasoori Methi, Paneer Cubes and 1⁄2 cup of water, mix gently and cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 7 minutes. Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
